Privacy
We care about preserving your privacy.
Thank you for visiting the Conservation Northwest website and reviewing our privacy policy. During your visit to the website, we collect no personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information.
In order to track of the number of visitors and what information on the site is most valued, we do collect information about when and how many visitors come to the site and what pages are most popular. We do not track this information by individual visitor.
We do gather individual information when you explicitly provide your name, address, email, etc when filling out forms for the purpose of making a donation, subscribing to an email list or taking action. If you are not a member of Conservation Northwest and subscribe to an e-mail list or take action, we may send you information on becoming a member via email or post. You may choose not to receive information by checking a box on the subscription form.
If you become a member of Conservation Northwest, we do sometimes share our membership list (name and address only) with like-minded non-profits in order to increase capacity in the conservation movement. Our membership and donation forms allow for you to opt-out of these exchanges by simply checking a box. You may also contact Membership Associate, Barbara Christensen at Barbara@conservationnw.org or 1-800-878-9950 X12.
We do not share with others your email address, phone number or any information on your donations or web action alerts in which you participate.
Our donations, action alert systems, and electronic newsletters are handled by external vendors, GiftTool, Democracy in Action, and WhatCounts, respectively. None of these vendors may use your personal information for any purpose beyond the administration of Conservation Northwest donations, e-mail alerts, and action centers. They store individual’s information securely, and only Conservation Northwest and appointed systems administrators may access it.
Our website contains links to other organizations and government agencies. This is a service to our visitors, and we attempt to make sure that they are all active sites with pertinent content. However, we cannot be held responsible for the privacy policies on sites to which we link. If you consider this important information, please read the privacy policy on those sites.
If you have questions about this website, please visit our contact page.
