The Colville National Forest’s wildlands are too precious to be up for debate, but they are. If you enjoy the hiking trails, wildlife and natural beauty of the Colville National Forest, NOW is the time to recommend these rare roadless areas for wilderness protection.
We are hosting a "Write a Letter for Wilderness" party and you're invited!
Help us during this historic opportunity. Please urge the Forest Service to recommend the Colville National Forest's rare, remaining roadless areas for wilderness protection and protect their wild character until Congress can consider them for wilderness designation.
Write a letter and you have the opportunity to win one of many great prizes generously donated by Backcountry Essentials, Conservation Northwest, GSI Outdoors, Mystery Ranch, and REI! (Winners will be selected by our panel of judges based on the specificity, originality, and effectiveness of their letters.)
