Award-winning photographer and naturalist, Paul Bannick, delivers the keynote address for the 2010 Sandhill Crane Festival presenting images and stories from his critically acclaimed book, The Owl and the Woodpecker: Encounters With North America's Most Iconic Birds.
The author intertwines extensive knowledge of natural history with breathtaking photography as he draws intriguing connections between owls and woodpeckers, with a focus on western habitats. Paul is also development director for Conservation Northwest.
