SOS for South Okanagan Similkameen
The Canadian government needs a push from you and me to create a new national park/reserve in British Columbia in the South Okanagan-Similkameen. Home to more than a third of BC's at-risk birds, mammals, and plants, these natural grasslands and interior desert communities, found nowhere else in Canada, are increasingly threatened by conversion of natural grasslands to vineyards and climate change.
