Join Dave Moskowitz, author of A Field Guide to Pacific Northwest Wildlife and Tracking, to explore the foothills of the North Cascades while learning winter mountain ecology, plant and animal survival strategies, wildlife tracking and the natural history of snow.

This field excursion will feature low-impact travel with two naturalists experienced in winter travel.

Exact location and activities are weather-dependent. Participants should be prepared for unpredictable winter conditions, but no previous experience is necessary.

Fee is $95 per participant.

Snowshoe rental is included as part of the class.
