Fuse is partnering with 350.org and the Power Past Coal coalition to host a two-day Climate Organizing Workshop for local environmental activists, held at Re Sources Sustainable Living Center.
The Climate Organizing Workshop will focus on campaign planning and story-telling. Trainings will include practical information on traditional and social media, engaging allies, and other critical organizing tools. The organizations will share lessons learned from organizing both local events and international campaigns. The goal is to equip local environmentalists with skills to bolster their work in support of the broader climate movement.
Admission to the workshop is free, but you have to signup in advance by Friday, February 17. Hurry, because there is only space for 30 participants! Food and materials are provided.
