There's still time! They are still playing basketball, so we are still on track. The madness has been extended until Monday April 7th!

While sports fans celebrate points scored and games won, you can make a slam dunk for wildlife and wild places, and connecting and protecting both from the Coast to the Rockies.  Basketball in downtown Republic, in northeast Washington. Photo by James JohnstonDuring the month of March, we have a goal of improving our winning team by adding 60 new members–just two members a day–and 10 new Wildland Partners.

By simply asking your conservation-minded friends and family to join and/or becoming a Wildland Partner yourself, you score big for your favorite Northwest wild place or critter … and maybe win a great prize!     Tools you can use

This year, our new members will be twice as special! During March Membership Madness, all new members will have their gift matched by board member Tom Campion. That means your support will go twice as far for ecosystems and communities!

How does it work?

All new members who join in March, including those from a referral, our website, emails lists, and other sources, will be entered into a raffle for several drawings of Conservation Northwest merchandise. There are two main ways for existing members to participate:

  • The Two Pointer: Existing members can use the easy tools we provide online to share our work with their friends and family.  When your friends become new members, you and your friend are both entered into a raffle (2 entries each)
  • The Three Pointer: You can join our Wildland Partners Giving Program, our monthly or quarterly giving program  (3 entries)

Why refer new members?

Every new person helps strengthen our team! Beyond supplying more than 70% of our annual revenue, our members give wildlife a voice.  As an advocacy group, public officials pay attention to the number of constituents we represent through our membership. The more members we have, the more influence we wield.

Why become a Wildland Partner?

Our Wildland Partners Giving Program provides an easy and secure way to contribute monthly or quarterly through automatic bank or credit card transfers. Your monthly or quarterly Wildland Partner gifts help provide the stable funding Conservation Northwest needs to meet the challenges ahead, such as protecting old-growth forests and wilderness from the Washington coast to the BC Rockies.

Hi ____________________________,
I wanted to let you know about an organization that is doing great work to protect wildlife and wilderness. Have you heard of Conservation Northwest? I’m proud to be a member of this cutting edge conservation group working to connect wild places from the Washington Coast to the BC Rockies. See www.conservationnw.org for more on their innovative work and accomplishments.
It's March Membership Madness at Conservation Northwest, with a goal of improving the winning team by adding 60 new members and 10 new Wildland Partners (monthly giving club) in March.  Please consider joining me in supporting this great organization and become a member today.  Besides helping to protect wild places and wildlife, when you join at the special $15 new membership rate (normally $30) or become a Wildland Partner, both you and I will be entered into a raffle for great prizes!
This year, new members will be twice as special! During March Membership Madness, all new members will have their gift matched by an anonymous donor. That means your support will go twice as far for ecosystems and communities!
Members are essential to Conservation Northwest’s work to keep the Northwest wild.  Not only do we contribute more than 70% of Conservation Northwest’s annual revenue, but we also give wildlife a voice. As an advocacy group, public officials pay attention to the number of constituents represented through their membership. The more members, the more influence we wield.
I hope you'll join this winning team by becoming a member before March 30th.
Please go to https://www.gifttool.com/donations/Donate?ID=202&VER=1&LNG=EN to join online. Be sure to put "referred by" and my name in the comments section.
For the wilds,
