Great Patagonia shoes call "Activists" are just the thing for Advocate Weeks, where your shoes could mean donations for our work. In Bellingham Sept. 4-15.

Who knew sweet new shoes could help grizzlies, wolves, wilderness, and more?

Patagonia did!

Twice each year, during "Advocate Weeks," Patagonia asks the stores that sell their products to choose a local non-profit to support.

During those two weeks, Patagonia donates $10 to the non-profit for every pair of Patagonia shoes sold. Then they challenge the stores create an inspiring display highlighting the non-profit, and they donate a $500 bonus for the best display.

Backcountry Essentials here in Bellingham is one of those retailers. For this year’s fall Advocacy Weeks, they chose Conservation Northwest as their beneficiary. From September 4 through 15th, every pair of Patagonia shoes they sell will mean $10 for bears and wolverines!

Looking for a new pair of shoes? Head on over for some Patagonia at Backcountry Essentials this week and next!
