Chris, Barbara, and Mike hiked into the Cascades last weekend in search of the truth behind some strange rumors. We haven't heard from them since. All we found was Mike's camera. What did they find out there?

donate-solo-button.jpgWe may never know what terrifying fate befell our beloved co-workers. We may never know what spirit haunts those woods... but we know a world without wildlife would be truly scary!

It's more than just a fun Halloween tale. If we don't act together, the future wildlife face can be dark indeed. Rapid development fragments landscapes, strangles biodiversity, and threatens rare species and ancient forests. Fewer than 10 grizzly bears roam the Cascades, lynx hold onto only a tenuous lifeline across the state, and Cascades wolves may soon lose their federal safety net.

But you can fight the forces that would suck the wild soul from the Northwest! Become a member today for just $20.

Scary can be fun!

ScaryThe spooky stories 'round the campfire, that jump in your heart as the movie really gets going, the darkened corn maze where anything could be around the corner...

We're celebrating all that makes scary fun with our World without Wildlife is Scary membership drive!

Matching gifts and prizes!
$20 is a small gift that will go a long way! Help us meet our goal of 75 new members, and your gift will go father with a $1,200 challenge match from our board. There are great prizes from Chris Morgan of BEARTREK and Paul Bannick Nature Photography, Washington wolf and North Cascades grizzly bear t-shirts, pocket guides for your favorite mushroomer, and more!

[How does your membership help? Our successes stretch back nearly 25 years]
