Thanks to our generous supporters, Conservation Northwest was able to raise over $300,000 dollars in the last week. That is tremendous! Conservation Northwest staff and board thanks you.

We share a passion

The last week has been nothing short of busy, and nothing short of amazing. Last Thursday, in the unexpected heat of an eighty degree evening, we kicked off the celebration of our 25th anniversary at our annual Hope for a Wild Future auction. The mood was buoyant, and our donors were generous, raising over $282,000 to help us keep the Northwest wild. To give you a flavor of the stories that were shared, watch this 5 minute video we presented at the event, produced by Conservation Northwest volunteer Ted Grudowski. It will be sure to inspire:

Following on the heels of the auction, we barely had time to catch our breath before GiveBIG, western Washington's biggest day of the year for charitable giving. The Seattle Foundation's match helped us achieve our goal of raising $25,000 during this one day fundraising drive. Over two hundred caring people, gave big and small, including two young members who held their own fundraiser and donated their allowance to us!

Mitch captured it perfectly in the video: "What makes us possible is this community of support. We share a passion and a love for the wild of the Northwest."

Thank you for a great twenty-five years. We are honored to keep working for you and a wild Northwest for another twenty-five years.
