- SOS for South Okanagan Similkameen
- The Canadian government just needs a push from you and me to create a new national park/reserve in British Columbia in the South Okanagan-Similkameen. Home to more than a third of BC's threatened and endangered birds, mammals, and plants, these natural grasslands and interior desert communities, found nowhere else in Canada, are increasingly threatened by growing development, conversion of natural grasslands to vineyards, and climate change.
- Speak out for Columbia Highlands wilderness
- Northeastern Washington’s Columbia Highlands have finally gained the national attention they deserve thanks to the historic collaboration between the region’s conservation and timber leaders. Let our representatives know that now is the time to safeguard these imperiled lands and wildlife—write a personal letter referencing your own experiences and love for these special places today.
- Recover the Cascades grizzly bear
- The Cascades grizzly bears need the help of our elected representatives before they disappear forever. Please write to Representative Norm Dicks and urge him to do all he can to protect and recover the North Cascades grizzly bear.
- Protect bull trout
- To survive, bull trout need very clean and cold water, complex habitat conditions (large wood, stable stream banks, deep pools), and watershed habitat connectivity for seasonal migrations between spawning and rearing sites. Let the Fish and Wildlife Service know you support the strongest protections for bull trout habitat.
- Thank you for helping wolves!
- A Washington State Wolf Management Plan is on its way to becoming a reality. Please lend your voice to support a plan based on sound science, and help wolves return to their vital ecological role in our state. An online action form make it easy to add your howl to the pack!
- You did it! I-1033 fails the vote.
- Times are tough enough, I-1033 will only make them worse.
- Wolf sample letter
- Your letter to the Wildlife Commission can help Washington's wolves get a management plan based on science, not fear and politics.
