More wildlife

Our focus isn't always only on charismatic megafauna. We protect rare and endangered wildlife, small and large, prey and predator.

Bull trout need cold, clean water.

From large to small

Over the years we have worked collaboratively to restore native wildlife by improving their habitat and management. We have also when necessary appealed and litigated using the  Endangered Species Act to protect native wildlife.

Our work affects many species, and not only Canada lynx, grizzly bear, wolf, wolverine, fisher, cougar, and mountain caribou. We have also sought protections for many other wildlife important to the greater Northwest, including:

Northern spotted owl
Marbled murrelet
Bull trout
Cherry Point herring
Western gray squirrel
Taylor's checkerspot butterfly
