Conservation for the Columbia Highlands

At Conservation Northwest's Spokane office, you'll find Conservation Associate Derrick Knowles building support for the Columbia Highlands to protect wildlands and working forests on the Colville National Forest in the northeastern Washington.

Spokane is the hub of the Inland Northwest and the home of outdoors loving people who like to hike, boat, fish, hunt, and camp in and around the nearby mountains, lakes, and streams. We partner with local conservation allies and reaches out to local hunters and anglers, who share a love of the great outdoors, and we bring volunteers together to help restore lands and rebuild trails.

Clean water and air, open forests of pine, and big sky views. Together we protect wildlands and wildlife in the inland Northwest, from the Spokane and Columbia Rivers north to the Selkirk Mountains.
