Kathleen has worked on wildlife and habitat conservation issues across the globe for more than two decades. A trained and published research biologist, Kathleen earned her Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Washington and B.A. in Biology from Barnard College-Columbia University. She has lived in Seattle on and off since the late 1990s and is excited to focus her efforts on watershed restoration and improving landscape connectivity for wildlife here in Washington, especially in the Central Cascades and on the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie and Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forests. Kathleen is also an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Washington and an IUCN Species Survival Commission Specialist.
