Part of our Development team, Marlisa Walden coordinates the operations of our Seattle office, processes gifts and memberships, supports donor stewardship, and serves as first point of contact at info (at) conservationnw.org.
Marlisa comes to Conservation Northwest from various administrative roles in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, focusing on the nitty gritty details of data and document coordination. As a child she lived in Italy and Turkey, then attended high school in Leavenworth, WA. Marlisa has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Washington State University and Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Washington. After spending nine years in Arizona, many of which were spent working at the Desert Botanical Garden, she returned to the beautiful Northwest. She enjoys being active outside, watching movies and window nature viewing with her cat, reading fiction novels, and hanging out with family and friends.
